We went to the museum. We saw the Taonga of Te Arawa. We looked at the flutes.  Tutanekai's special flute was safe in a case but we could touch the wooden flute. George played it for us.

Tutanekai's flute feels smooth. He blew his flute. Hinemoa heard the flute and she swam to Mokoia Island.

I felt the glass by the axe. It felt smooth.

I saw a hook. It was made of rock. It is special because it is old.

I saw a cloak. It was cool because I liked the feathers and it was made of dog skin too. The dog skin looked scary.

I went to the Rotorua museum with my Mum. When I went upstairs I saw the whole of Rotorua.
by Rakaia.

I like the flute and it was special because it was Tutanekai's. He played it for Hinemoa.

Our frog has gone to live in Mrs Field's pond with the goldfish. He wants to find a safe place to stay for the cold winter.

He likes sitting on the lily pad in the sun waiting for a bug to eat.
